iCloud synchronization problems

Have a problem with iCloud synchronization of your memories? Here are some tips to fix it.

Every now and then it can happen that the synchronization via iCloud does not work quite as expected and created reminders are not synchronized correctly.

Unfortunately, I don't have complete control over iCloud since iCloud is provided and managed by Apple. However, there are a few things here and there that you can try to get the sync working again.

iCloud sync status

Go into the settings of the app and open the "iCloud" tab. There you can see the current sync status of the app.

Network connection

Check your network connection and make sure you are connected to the Internet. You can also see the current status directly in the app under "Settings > iCloud".

iCloud account connected

Make sure you have an iCloud account connected to your iPhone.

Enough iCloud storage space

Make sure you have enough free space in your iCloud account. Memoly needs some storage to work properly.

If you run out of free iCloud storage, delete some data you no longer need or upgrade your current iCloud plan.

Sync still does not work?

It may happen that the synchronization still does not work. If this is the case for you, disable iCloud for Memoly in your iCloud settings and uninstall the app. When reinstalling, Memoly will immediately load all reminders from iCloud that have already been synced. Please note that uninstalling Memoly will delete all the data that has not been synced and you will not be able to restore it.
