Personal data
Memoly does not collect any data.
Everything you do is stored in your iCloud account and is synced across all devices to the same iCloud account. Memoly does not have access to your data in iCloud.

Security
Memoly has implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the security of personal information processed by Memoly. However, despite Memoly's safeguards and efforts to protect your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be 100% secure, so Memoly cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to breach Memoly's security and unlawfully collect, access, steal or alter your information. Although Memoly will do its best to protect your personal information, any transmission of personal information to and from our App is at your own risk. You should only access the App within a secure environment.
Use of Apple Health data
To use some features, Memoly needs access to your Apple Health data. Memoly will only read data to present it to you clearly. All data will remain on your device / in your iCloud.
Use of reminders
For using some features Memoly needs access to your reminders. Memoly can read your reminders. Partially, Memoly can edit or delete your reminders. This is done solely through the use of the user. Memoly will not automatically change data. All data remains on your device / in your iCloud.
Use of calendars
For the use of some features Memoly needs access to your calendars. Memoly can read your events. Partially, Memoly can edit or delete your events. This is done solely through the use of the user. Memoly will not automatically change data. All data remains on your device / in your iCloud.
Use of contacts
To use some features Memoly needs access to your contacts. Memoly can read your contacts. Memoly cannot edit or delete your contacts. Memoly will not automatically change data. All data will stay on your device / in your iCloud.
Use of location data
For using some features Memoly needs access to your location. Memoly can read and store your location. All data will remain on your device / in your iCloud.
Disclosure to third parties
Since Memoly does not collect any data about its users, no data can be shared with third parties.
In-app-purchases
In-app purchases, such as the subscription or one-time purchase of Memoly Pro, are processed through Revenuecat.
Revenuecat collects the following data about users who make an in-app purchase:
- App User ID
- Last Seen App Version
- Country
- Total Spend
- Last opened
- User since
- Last Seen Platform Versiom
- Last Seen SDK Version
- Last Seen Locale
All this data cannot be associated with you.

Memoly Share
Memoly Share allows you to connect with other nearby users to share memories. You are responsible for all content you share and Memoly has no control about what you share with other users or what memories you will receive.
Privacy with Memoly Share
Memoly cares about the content you have stored on your device and don't want you to receive unwanted content.
Accepting Shares
Only accept memories from users you know. If you don't know the source of a share invite ignore the incoming prompt. Memoly will show you the name of the requesting user to let you decide if you trust the person or not.
Stop receiving shares
You can always stop receiving shares. This will make you invisible for other nearby users.
Sharing sensible data
Only share memories that you want to share. If you don't want so share sensible data like locations or links, you can easily unselect them in the app settings.
